Synopsis

The Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra presents its festival debut, offering a program steeped in Eastern inspiration. The music evokes the vibrant sounds and rich aromas of bazaars and seraglios, alongside interpretations of the Queen of Sheba by Handel and Respighi. Violin virtuoso Daniel Hope will also premiere a new concerto by Gabriel Prokofiev, the talented grandson of Sergei Prokofiev. The event is presented by Katie Derham.
