Katie Derham welcomes the Mahler Chamber Orchestra to the Royal Albert Hall. A deeply international ensemble, its musicians hail from twenty nations. Founded in 1997, the orchestra quickly gained recognition as a leading European group. Led by conductor Daniel Harding, they will perform symphonies by Schumann and Sibelius, with Liverpool-born pianist Paul Lewis joining them for Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 25.
