Neil Brand offers an evening of cinematic music, with themes of war and science fiction taking center stage. Keith Lockhart leads the BBC Concert Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall in a performance of Walton's largely abandoned score for *Battle of Britain*, David Arnold's end titles from *Independence Day*, and selections from Richard Strauss and György Ligeti as featured in Stanley Kubrick's *2001: A Space Odyssey*.
