Synopsis

Tom Service presents the latest sounds from the Proms in his modern music series, joined by Gillian Moore, the leading figure in Southbank classical music. They explore a curated selection of premieres and new commissions featured throughout the season at the Royal Albert Hall. The music spans a diverse range, from the world premieres of John McCabe's *Joybox* and Mark-Anthony Turnage's *Frieze*, to a new composition by Murray Gold celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of Doctor Who.
