Synopsis

Daniel Barenboim’s ongoing exploration of Beethoven’s symphonies with the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra continues with a second concert. The lively Fourth Symphony is presented alongside the monumental and revolutionary Third, Eroica. The program also features Pierre Boulez’s demanding *Dialogue de l'ombre double*, performed by clarinetist Yussef Eisa with live electronics generated in Boulez’s IRCAM research center.
