Synopsis

Gilbert and Sullivan’s operetta *The Yeomen of the Guard* is scheduled to appear at the Proms. This work offers a vibrant blend of humor and sorrow, rich with playful satire, and is widely considered the pair's most accomplished Savoy opera. The BBC Concert Orchestra and BBC Singers, led by the distinguished Jane Glover, will perform, with a cast of celebrated British singers. The production, staged for the Royal Albert Hall by the highly respected Martin Duncan.
