The 118th season of BBC Proms commences at the Royal Albert Hall with a concert dedicated entirely to English composers. As London prepares to host the Olympics, the evening features a remarkable succession of conductors: Sir Roger Norrington, Sir Mark Elder, Edward Gardner, and Martyn Brabbins each taking the lead.
