Synopsis

The Australian Youth Orchestra, presented by Suzy Klein, brings its international summer tour to the Proms, following a performance at the Royal Albert Hall. Under the direction of Mark Elder, the orchestra will perform an orchestral fantasy by Australian composer Brett Dean, alongside a selection of Mahler songs and Shostakovich’s Tenth Symphony.
