Synopsis

Charles Hazlewood, appearing as Vladimir Jurowski, the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s principal conductor, has curated a compelling and varied program for the Proms. It features Ibert's Bacchanale, Debussy's ballet score *Jeux*, Mozart's Sonata for Two Pianos performed by Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Tamara Stefanovich, and Brahms's First Symphony.
