The Proms celebrate the 75th birthday of Sir Harrison Birtwistle, one of Britain’s most distinguished composers, with a rare presentation of the central act from his vast opera, *The Mask of Orpheus*. The performance features the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the BBC Singers, and a cast including Alan Oke and Christine Rice, led by conductor Martyn Brabbins with Ryan Wigglesworth.
