Synopsis

Lang Lang, the celebrated Chinese pianist, has been granted a solo recital at the Proms, becoming only the third performer to receive this distinction. His program will feature a selection of beloved compositions by Mozart, Rachmaninov, Debussy, Chopin, and Liszt. Joining him for a special duet will be Marc Yu, an American piano prodigy often called "little Mozart," at just nine years old. The evening is presented by Petroc Trelawney.
