Synopsis

The London Symphony Chorus and the BBC Symphony Chorus and Orchestra, led by Pierre Boulez, will perform two of Czech composer Janáček’s most significant non-operatic works: Sinfonietta and Glagolitic Mass. The performances feature vocal soloists and organist Simon Preston. Additionally, a rare opportunity will arise to hear Janáček’s Capriccio for piano and chamber ensemble, with pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet. Sara Mohr-Pietsch will host the event.
