Synopsis

Charles Hazlewood presents an evening of French Baroque music, featuring the English Baroque Soloists and the Monteverdi Choir. Sir John Eliot Gardiner leads a selection of dances drawn from Rameau’s stage works, a performance enriched by artists from the Buskaid Soweto String Project and the dancers of Compagnie Roussat-Lubek. The program also includes a rare presentation of Campra's largely forgotten Requiem Mass.
