Synopsis

Esa-Pekka Salonen leads the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra in a program featuring two pivotal works of French orchestral tradition: Debussy's evocative "La Mer" and Ravel's vibrant "Daphnis et Chloé." The concert also includes Sibelius's enchanting tone poem, "Luonnotar," alongside Mark-Anthony Turnage's powerful trumpet concerto, "From the Wreckage."
