Synopsis

Building on the triumph of last year, renowned conductor Daniel Barenboim will return to the Royal Albert Hall leading his West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, comprised of young musicians from both Arab and Israeli backgrounds. The program features solo performances in Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante for oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and horn. The concert concludes with Mahler's Symphony No. 1 in D major, following the intermission. During the interval, Verity Sharp will interview Barenboim, joined by Rob Co
