Synopsis

From the Royal Albert Hall, chief conductor Mariss Jansons guides the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra through a program devoted entirely to Russian composers. Joining the orchestra is the internationally acclaimed violinist Gidon Kremer, who will perform Shostakovich's Violin Concerto No. 1 in A minor.
