Synopsis

The BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, led by conductor Gianandrea Noseda, will present Richard Strauss's *Four Last Songs* and Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 in C minor, featuring Italian soprano Barbara Frittoli. The program also includes the European premiere of *Silence*, the third symphony by Scottish composer James MacMillan, with Tommy Pearson providing introduction.
