Synopsis

Opera star Denyce Graves takes to the Royal Albert Hall for her Proms debut in a concert of beloved classics. The program features pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet and includes works by Bernstein, Gershwin, and Bizet, culminating in Ravel's Boléro. The BBC Philharmonic, under the direction of their new principal conductor Gianandrea Noseda, performs the selections. Charles Hazlewood introduces the evening.
