Synopsis

The Proms season concludes with a grand finale as BBC1 assumes live broadcast, hosted by Stephanie Hughes. In commemoration of the composer's centenary, Broadway legend Audra McDonald performs some of Richard Rodgers’ most beloved songs from the theatre. The programme culminates in the customary celebratory singalong, with the Albert Hall audience joining the thousands gathered for Proms in the Park in London, Gateshead, and Belfast.
