Synopsis

Tonight's Prom at London's Royal Albert Hall features live coverage of the San Francisco Symphony, a leading American orchestra, conducted by Michael Tilson Thomas. The concert begins with Carl Ruggles's *Sun-Treader*, followed by Schumann's Piano Concerto in A minor, performed by Martha Argerich. The second half showcases Stravinsky's 20th-century masterpiece, *The Rite of Spring*. The program is presented by Stephanie Hughes.
