Synopsis

This is the first of four celebrity appearances at this year's BBC Proms, held at London's Royal Albert Hall. Tonight, Michael Parkinson will present two musical selections: Gustav Holst's *The Planets*, a perennial favorite, and Haydn's "Representation of Chaos" from *The Creation*. The performance features the Vasari Singers and the BBC Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andrew Davis.
