Synopsis

In the second of four televised Proms for the BBC, James Naughtie presents a concert exploring music from the world of film, held at London's Royal Albert Hall on August 2nd. The program features Beethoven's Symphony No. 7, famously employed in the film *Immortal Beloved*, alongside Elgar's nostalgic depiction of youth, *The Wand of Youth*. The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra is conducted by Osmo Vanska of Finland.
