James Naughtie introduces the first of four televised Proms, a concert featuring classical music drawn from the world of film, performed at London's Royal Albert Hall on July 20th. Yan Pascal Tortelier leads the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in a program including Gershwin’s Girl Crazy Overture and Rhapsody in Blue, Leonard Bernstein’s score for *On the Waterfront*, and Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G, with Canadian pianist Louis Lortie.
