Synopsis

From the Royal Albert Hall in London, and broadcast concurrently with Radio 3, the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain presents a program of 20th-century masterpieces. Opera singer Sally Burgess joins the orchestra, conducted by Paul Daniel, to perform a selection of George Gershwin’s most celebrated compositions, including "Someone to Watch over Me" and "Slap That Bass." The concert begins with Varese's *Ameriques* and concludes with Stravinsky's *The Rite of Spring*, marking the 25th ann
