Synopsis

The hundred-year celebration of the Promenade Concerts culminates in a vibrant second half to tonight’s live performance. Contributing to the musical celebration are two of Britain’s most acclaimed young artists: percussionist Evelyn Glennie, featured as soloist in Paul Creston's Marimba Concertino, and Welsh baritone Bryn Terfel.
