Synopsis

The exceptional American trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and his septet, a collective of internationally renowned jazz musicians, will perform a late-night concert as part of the Proms at London's Royal Albert Hall. Marsalis notes that "The Proms are celebrated for their diverse audience—and that resonates with me. I don’t subscribe to the notion of celebrating youth exclusively. I cherish young people, certainly, but also those of all ages. It is the continuous flow of life that matters. Jazz is t
