Tonight’s Prom commemorates anniversaries of two celebrated nationalist composers, Grieg and Tchaikovsky, yet opens with Stravinsky’s vibrant ballet score, *Petrushka*, in its original 1911 iteration. During the intermission, a visit to Bergen will offer a glimpse into the innovative ways Norway is marking the life and legacy of Grieg.
