Beethoven’s Choral Symphony, performed by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Claudio Abbado, features a distinguished vocal cast: Karita Mattila (soprano), Alfreda Hodgson (mezzo-soprano), Jerry Hadley (tenor), and Robert Holl (bass).
