Michael Berkeley introduces tonight's broadcast from the Royal Albert Hall in London, a highlight of this year's Henry Wood Promenade Concerts season. The London Sinfonietta, led by principal player Nona Liddell and conducted by Simon Rattle, one of Britain’s most acclaimed conductors of his generation, presents a special Bank Holiday program dedicated to American music.
