Synopsis

Richard Baker introduces the second broadcast of this year's BBC1 series from the Henry Wood Promenade Concerts. Simon Rattle conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra, with principal cellist Raymond Owens, in Rachmaninoff’s Second Symphony.
