Synopsis

Tonight, BBC Television broadcasts from the 1982 Henry Wood Promenade Concerts for the first time. The BBC Northern Sinfonia, conducted by Günther Herbig, will perform Schubert's Ninth Symphony, the 'Great' in C major. The program is introduced by Richard Baker.
