Synopsis

This was the third of six performances during the 1975 season of Henry Wood Promenade Concerts held at the Royal Albert Hall. The London Philharmonic Orchestra, led by concertmaster Rodney Friend and conducted by Bernard Haitink, presented Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5 in E minor. The program was introduced by Robin Ray. Roy Tipping was the director of this concert, which took place on the 9th of August.
