Synopsis

Tonight's Promenade Concert, presented by the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and conducted by Christopher Seaman, will be broadcast live from the Royal Albert Hall on BBC2 and Radio 3. The first half features a performance of Tchaikovsky's Overture-Fantasia, drawn from *Romeo and Juliet*, followed by Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 2 in G minor, with Kyung-Wha Chung on violin. The program is introduced by Cormac Rigby for both BBC2 and Radio 3.
