Synopsis

This was the second of six performances during the 1974 season of Henry Wood Promenade Concerts at the Royal Albert Hall. The program featured Carl Orff's *Carmina Burana*, a collection of secular songs for soloists and chorus, interwoven with instrumental passages and evocative imagery.
