Synopsis

This marked the first of six concerts scheduled for the 1974 season of Henry Wood Promenade Concerts at the Royal Albert Hall. RICHARD BAKER introduces Debussy's *Images*, with accompaniment for a film scene performed by the BBC Symphony Orchestra, led by principal player ELI GOREN and conducted by Pierre Boulez. The production is overseen by Director RODNEY GREENBERG.
