Synopsis

Recently, cameras from BBC2 captured the second of two Promenade Concerts, featuring a distinguished lineup of artists at the Royal Albert Hall. Hiroyuki Iwaki conducted the NHK Symphony Orchestra of Japan in a performance of Mozart's Violin Concerto in G major (K 216), with Masuko Ushioda on violin. The program also included Akira Miyoshi’s Concerto for Orchestra. The concert was introduced by Antony Hopkins. (This performance took place on September 3rd.)
