Synopsis

This was the fourth of five performances in the 1972 season of Henry Wood Promenade Concerts held at the Royal Albert Hall. John Pritchard conducted a program featuring Waltzes and Polkas by the Strauss family, alongside excerpts from Lehár's *The Merry Widow* and Johann Strauss's *Die Fledermaus*.
