Synopsis

Pierre Boulez leads the BBC Symphony Orchestra, with principal guest conductor Bela Dekany, in a performance featuring works by Debussy and Stravinsky. The program includes Debussy's *Iberia*, the second movement, followed by Stravinsky's *Suite from Petrushka*. This concert is the third in a six-part series from the 1971 Henry Wood Promenade Concerts held at the Royal Albert Hall. The evening is introduced by Richard Baker.
