Synopsis

Cameras from BBC outside broadcast are positioned at the Royal Albert Hall for the second half of the 75th season's closing concert. Colin Davis conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra, with Eli Goren as Principal Trumpet. The program features Elgar's Overture: Cockaigne, followed by a Fantasia on British Sea Songs (arranged by Wood), Parry's Jerusalem. The evening is introduced by Richard Baker.
