Synopsis

This recording is the second in a series of five exceptional broadcasts from the BBC's 1964 Promenade Concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, London. Featuring Stephen Bishop at piano, the London Symphony Orchestra is led by Erich Gruenberg and conducted by Colin Davis. The program is introduced by Corbet Woodall.
