Synopsis

John "J.D." Darius, a seasoned lifeguard, returns to Bayside and finds himself vying with the striking newcomer, Taylor Walsh, for the lieutenant position vacated by Mitch. The decision of who will best fill Mitch's shoes rests with him. Though J.D. possesses a wealth of experience as a lifeguard, the shadow of a past failure – a rescue gone wrong at Daytona Beach years ago – continues to haunt him.
