Synopsis

Olympic champion Mary Lou Retton arrives at Baywatch with a proposal: a Special Olympics competition for athletes with intellectual disabilities. At her insistence, Mitch takes a troubled teenager named Darnell under his guidance. Darnell is consumed by the desire to win, often overlooking matters of fair play. Meanwhile, Stephanie forms a connection with Sammy, a quiet young woman with Down syndrome who struggles with self-belief.
