Synopsis

Buzzy, Mitch’s brother, arrives for a visit with his son Kyle, a young man who quickly proves a detrimental presence for Hobie. Kyle's rebellious nature leads him to illegal surfing near the dilapidated San Dimas Pier. There, he strikes a submerged piling and is plunged beneath the waves, losing consciousness.
