I wish more entertainment focused on simply being entertaining. Lately, it feels like a lot of what's available is intended to promote an agenda instead. Batwoman fits into that pattern. To my mind, it carries a political viewpoint concerning feminism and lesbianism that’s been handled so heavily it feels as stale as beef jerky passed down through generations from the Civil War era. Even more disappointing, because of the need to convey this message, the show failed to be captivating, interesting, or even fun. The action sequences are adequately executed, but beyond that, nothing really connects with me. Overall, I considered it a worn-out, dull, preachy, and predictable production. I won't be returning for more! 3/10.
