It’s disappointing that my enjoyment of this series was lessened by constant thoughts about the initial Battlestar Galactica film and how much it diverged from that version. It really is a good program; the visuals are stunning, and the characters are well-developed. The plot twists and acts of deception kept me engaged. However, I found myself frequently noticing all the changes made compared to the earlier story. Ultimately, I think the show itself is quite strong—it’s just that I'm getting up there in years.
