Synopsis

Escaping from the grasp of Wataru, now under the influence of Otoya, the Ladybug Fangire takes Kengo and Keisuke hostage. Her aim: to compel Megumi into battle as IXA. The entity masquerading as Otoya attempts to instill in her the fortitude of a warrior, but she remains defiant, and the hostages' time dwindles. Elsewhere, in 1986, the real Otoya encounters a woman of enigmatic presence at a wedding. He seeks Yuri, only to discover she is Maya, the queen of the Checkmate Four.
