Synopsis

Following a conversation with Hibiki regarding their post-middle school aspirations, Asumu is sharply reminded of his predetermined path: he must pass the entrance examination for Jounan. He resolves to avoid Hibiki until he has been accepted, eager to share the news. Meanwhile, Hibiki departs upon hearing that a comrade sustained injuries in a recent battle. He must now confront an unfamiliar strain of Makamou, and the challenge promises to be unlike any he has faced before.
