Synopsis

Mari and Takumi persist in their uneasy journey toward Tokyo. Yuji remains unable to reconcile himself with recent events, and attempts at self-destruction prove futile. He seeks solace in the arms of a former love, hoping for a fresh beginning. Instead, she betrays him, turning away as police arrive to question her about his cousin’s demise. In a devastating act, he takes her life.
