Synopsis

From the Royal Cornwall Showground, Eric Knowles hosts alongside experts Caroline Hawley and Ben Cooper. Two teams of couples compete to purchase three items with the potential for profit at auction, each vying for the coveted Golden Gavel. The Blue team focuses on a Bakelite radio, while a fairground zebra generates considerable interest. Knowles encounters Ross Poldark, and engages the audience in a quiz about the provenance of an enigmatic artifact.
