Synopsis

Tim Wonnacott examines a sword dating back two millennia, unearthed by a farmer in the River Nene in 1983 and now a prized exhibit at Peterborough Museum. At the town's Festival of Antiques, shrewd shoppers seek out overlooked treasures, guided by experts Anita Manning and Charles Hanson. Their discoveries include a Wedgwood platter, a necklace of seed pearls, and a small figurine.
